The Villas
Xandari Resort & Spa’s 24 spacious villas are each individually designed and unique.
All villas feature private garden terraces and panoramic views of the Central Valley of Costa Rica.
Our original 17 villas and 2 lap swimming pools are on the East Hill, with easy access to the
Main Building which houses Reception, Dining, a Full Bar, Arts and Crafts Shop, plus TV/DVD Room.
7 villas are located on the West Hill, close to Xandari’s full-service Spa Village
and our new Sunset Pool and Jacuzzi. A trail walk through botanic gardens leads
to the Main Building... or an electric cart is available on-call.
There are 4 main Villa categories: Prima, Prima Plus, Ultra, Ultra Plus,
plus our special new Star Villa. Since each villa is individually designed, your villa will be unique.

Prima

Prima
Each villa is approx. 500 sq. ft. Primas are in buildings of 2 or 4 villas,
with either a king bed or 2 full beds. All are located on our East Hill.
Prima Plus
with either a king bed or 2 full beds. All are located on our East Hill.
Prima Plus
Villas 15 + 16 are approx. 735 sq. ft. and feature a sleeping alcove
with a king bed plus a sofa bed in the main area. Located on the East Hill.
Villa 20 is approx. 500 sq. ft. and our only round jalapa villa, with a dramatic high palm roof,
king bed, and a garden view (instead of a central valley view). Located on the East Hill.
Villas 23 + 24 are approx. 600 sq. ft. stand-alone individual villas with 2 full beds plus a sofa bed,
and a larger private garden area. Located on the West Hill.
Ultra
with a king bed plus a sofa bed in the main area. Located on the East Hill.
Villa 20 is approx. 500 sq. ft. and our only round jalapa villa, with a dramatic high palm roof,
king bed, and a garden view (instead of a central valley view). Located on the East Hill.
Villas 23 + 24 are approx. 600 sq. ft. stand-alone individual villas with 2 full beds plus a sofa bed,
and a larger private garden area. Located on the West Hill.
Ultra
Stand-alone individual villas with approx. 735 sq. ft. of spacious interior,
with either a king bed or 2 full beds. Located on the East Hill.
Ultra Plus
with either a king bed or 2 full beds. Located on the East Hill.
Ultra Plus
These spacious villas are approx. 820 sq. ft., with a king bed, 2 sofa beds, and a larger private garden.
Villa 26 is unique in that it has a separate bedroom and is designed to accommodate the handicapped.
All other villas are open plan. Located on the West Hill.
The Star

The Star
The Star Villa is Xandari's newest and largest villa with 1420 sq. ft.
which includes two bedrooms, salon and dining area, a full kitchen, and an office/study with internet.
The master bedroom has a king bed, and the second bedroom has two full beds.
The covered terrace overlooks our Sunset Pool and has a panoramic view of the Central Valley.
A high wall and entrance gate enclose a spacious garden.
Please Note...
• We have chosen not to have televisions in the villas, which are designed for a tranquil experience.
However, satellite tv and movies can be enjoyed in the tv room in the main building.
• Xandari Resort & Spa is situated on a hill at 1190 meters (3900 ft.) elevation, with a year-round temperate climate
of approx. 70 degrees. Our villas enjoy natural cross ventilation and do not require air conditioning.
