Our goal at Xandari by the Pacific is to diminish the environmental impact of our operations and to protect the invaluable natural resources of our area. To accomplish this, we have developed a comprehensive Sustainable Tourism Program: We recycle all possible items. Soaps and shampoos used in our villas are organic and biodegradable, and only biodegradable cleaning products are used by our maids and in our kitchen. We ask our guests to cooperate in reducing the quantity of linen laundered daily. We dry laundry outdoors in the sun whenever possible. A natural wastewater treatment system uses bacteria to break down waste. Solar lighting is installed along our walkways. Kitchen and garden waste is used as mulch for our soil. We have enhanced much of our site with a wide variety of tropical plants and fruit trees that attract birds, iguanas and butterflies. All our landscaping is chemical free.
