How do I get there?
From San Jose, the International Airport or Xandari Resort & Spa, travel on the Central Pacific Highway to Jaco (approx. 2 hours), then 30km south, past Playa Hermosa, Playa Esterillos Oeste & Central (25 minutes), exiting at Playa Esterillos Este.
 
What are the accommodations like?
Spacious private villas all feature a large terrace from which to enjoy panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean or lush tropical gardens, private walled-gardens, sitting area, mini-bar, air conditioning plus fan & luxury amenities such as hair dryer & CD player.The generous bathrooms feature a mosaic-tiled shower that opens to a private garden. Each villa is a separate building, designed by owner & architect Sherrill Broudy, with original paintings, mosaics & tapestries by artist Charlene Broudy

The open-air thatched palm roof pavilion restaurant & bar has sweeping views of the beach & gardens from every table. Featuring healthy, gourmet international & Costa Rican dishes,
the emphasis is on fresh seafood & produce, with many fruits, vegetables &
herbs grown in our own gardens. Open daily from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.
 
What is the beach at the hotel like?
This shell-strewn, long, expansive & scenic beach is perfect for walking, jogging, exploring & sunbathing. Dramatic waves have made this a renowned surfing beach. There's ample shade under the palm & almond trees, plus hammocks & chaise lounges for relaxing, & there's almost always
